FRESHWATER CALCIFIERS

Freshwater systems are also subject to acidification by increased atmospheric carbon dioxide. I am interested in how freshwater calcifiers cope with variations in carbonate chemistry and aim to compare their performance with that of their marine counterparts. I  have conducted experiments at the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center.
